Once this behemoth and its siblings are finished, NYC's downtown will recover its flavor and very characteristic skyline it has until 2001, which make it stand out from any other city in the world... however, I still miss those views and I still remember my first two visits to the city going to the observation deck in the South Tower, and when I refused to visit it for the third time with another friend of mine who had just arrived that day telling him "oh, go by yourself, I think I've had enough for today and the Towers are going to be forever so I can go anytime I want, maybe next year or later"... and that happened in September 2000... who could imagine what was going to happen then?

From past threads it seems that a lot of construction slows down in the northern cities during winter time... Not this one!

^The formula is 57+(FL-20)*4.06. 57 meter base, plus the floor number minus 20 (the first floor above the base) times 4.06.

So, about 187 meters.

Probably would have been a better idea to not start the thread with provocative statements, but hopefully this thread can stay on topic.

Can someone repost the most recent pictures? I'm not very skilled at posting images.
