Does anybody knows the exact lenght of the vertical steel beams??
And, as I have noticed in STR's renders on his thread, the structure (steel beams) finishes at a height ~406.9 meters, meanwhile the curtain wall finishes at the symbolic 417m height, right?

Please, guys, can someone answer my question:

Why is there no Tower 6 in the complex? There's Tower 1 - 4 and Tower 5 will probably be built on the deconstruction site of 130 Liberty and Tower 7 is already built. Only #6 is left out. Why?

WTC7 was not called like that because there are 7 towers, but because it was build on the ground of the former WTC7.

They have planted so many trees around ground zero already, just noticed in the above photos. I didn't expect that so soon.

There is no why, there just isn't one. And as far as I can tell, This building is where tower 6 use to be.

Yes, the last floor is 106th, that's ~406 m, and curtain wall is up to the 417 m..On the roof (106th floor) are catwalks, window washing units, and steel for the spire and comunication rings..

Thank you Otie for all your great pics. Probably not all taken by yourself but nevertheless thanks for your efforts.
I always come to this forum to see nice pics, see the construction progress and than I'm always disappointed because it's full of gibberish chat. People talking about politics and all that sh*t. But you really made my day with all those beautiful pictures.

Sorry for my possible ignorance, but why did they stop with bringing on the cladding after six floors? They haven't brought on cladding in ~ 1 week...

Thanks for the info, the more information I have, the more accurate my diagram is.

There's nothing to be thankful, none of the pictures I post are mine, all of them belong to people from Flickr, Skyscraperpage and WiredNY. That's why I write the credits of every picture,

The State-of-the-Art Cocoon Safety System is finally rising (52-56 floors).

Otie, in the intrest of acuracy, he's all wrong. I do happen to have the prints for Tower One.

The roof is the 105th floor, elevation 1,334' 8" this building is NOT metric but the metric equivalent is 406.9 meters.
the top of tha parapet is 1,368' same as the old Tower One. (416.966 meters)

i've got a little question.
if the 105th floor stops on ca. 406m,there should be a hight of ca 3.8m/3.9m per floor.
but why is the current core with about 58 floors only 200m high, there should be at least 220m?!?!?

this is an internatinal forum for every kind of culture. If you want to read your feet go to the american forum.
but for you, why is the structure with current more than 58 floors and 12/13 feet per floor only 656 feet tall and not at least 722 feet?
