Architect: Henning Larsens Architects
Developer: KPC Byg A/S

Description: This new 12 storey high-rise was built in the area around Dalgasgade in central Herning. The area has in the last years been transformed into a kind of a financial distric, and locally the street is referred to as "Wall Street" - This office building is the latest addition to the area.

Originally the building was supposed to be clad in tombak, but the developer later decided on Indian granite instead. Although the name could indicated some royal connection, it was chosen because of the location of the tower which is facing Dalgaspassagen and Dronningens Boulevard (Queens Boulevard).

Loads of amazing high-rise projects here, Denmark is for sure in the lead in having some of the highest quality high-rise project in S&B nowadays. I hope "The Battery" gets approved/built, its a proposal out of this world!

Det Vredne Tårn and Bella Center Hotel have such a exellent design, world class architecture!

New building added (Thanx to EDK_DK ). I know they write 12 floors on the website, but I only count 11 on the renderings. I guess they count the technical floor on top as a floor, but I don't. It is 35+ meters though, so it makes the list. Didn't think it was UC already.

Siloetten (in the Århus suburb Løgten)
36 m
11 floors (12 if you include the technical floor on top)
Residential
UC (Old silo being converted, Expected construction time: 2006-2007)
Architect: Arkitektfirmaet C.F. Møller

Thanks mlm - Great thread...

I still count 12 floors - perhaps it's some kind of penthouse at the top. Take a look at this picture:
http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/8...1753b47gg6.jpg

Anyway it's above 35 m and Aarhus is very bad represented in your thread..

Well that is an old rendering. If you take a look at this page, it's quite clear that there are only 11 residential floors. There could be a balcony or something at the top, but I still don't consider that a floor.

What about the Bispebjerg Bakke buildings? I think they are pretty cool - but not sure if they are high enough for this thread:

/\ They/it are pretty special, but I count only 8 floors at the highest point, which wont do it. To make the list they need 12 floors, or 35 meters (standards like Emporis uses).

Actually I just found it on big's site and I think it is only 32 meters at the tallest spot, so I guess it is a no go...It just looks taller with the location right next to the metro....
