Could be interesting with the right facade...hard to tell from that rendering how it would look like...

And here we go again, yet another new proposal, and again from a "new" town. Now Silkeborg will participate in the race, with an, in my opinion, quite nice proposal:
![]() Højhus Papirfabriken (No known name yet) 63 m 19 floors Residential, Office Proposed (on Aug 30th 2007) Architect: Årstiderne Arkitekter Will it be build? - My guess: 50 % chance (selfmade collage by renderings from Årstiderne Årkitekter) ---------------------------------------------------------- The tower will be made of glass and tiles, and it will consist of some 4 "cylinders" connected in the middle. Two of them will have 19 floors, and the two others 18 floors. It will be mostly residential, but also a bit of commercial space at the bottom. It'll be located at the "Papirfabrik" area right in the middle of Silkeborg, and the project also includes 4 smaller buildings, a "performance house" and a 3 storey underground parking garage. The total price is expected to be some 300-350 million DKr., and construction is supposed to start in 2008 if everything go as planned (... which it most likely wont ).

And yet another new proposal (even though we have seen the renderings before), this time in the small town of Ry (in Skanderborg Municipality). Ry only has a population of 5226, so this is quite a surprice. I really have my doubts about this one, that also explains the lower start chance (in %) than normal. The chairman of the local "naturfredningsforeningen" has already called it an "øjenbæ", and even though I do find it somehow exiting, I simple don't belive it will go up in a very small place like Ry.
![]() Harlekin 50 m 14 floors Residential, Office, Shops Proposed (on Aug 24th 2007) Architect: Arkitekthuset A/S Will it be build? - My guess: 25 % chance

/\ Just like you said last time I showed it...
![]() To me it looks like a mix between a huge sculpture and a highrise building. Wouldn't mind having it here, it would fit nicely close to our crazy giant ELIA sculpture. On the other hand...oh...I don't know.... It's really weird.

Think it looks...hmm different...
![]() The project in Silkeborg looks okay...I hope the best for both projects - but you know, this is Denmark, so we will probably have to live with the renderings... |

I was wondering why the new Concert hall in "Ørestad Nord" hasn't been listet in this thread...
DR's Koncertsal 45m Jean Nouvel ![]() New renderings "Copenhagen Towers": (Ørestaden) ![]() Looks very nice...

Very nice indeed! i'm counting 25/26 floors... isn't that "too high" in Ørestaden?

/\ Are you sure about that? According to Copenhagen Towers it is 3. I know that it is old though...

/\ Thanks. It says, just as you write, that phase one will have two towers, but nothing about how it will be when everything is build. I still think it's 3 towers, but I'm not sure. The rendering posted by EDK_DK is the hotel tower btw, that also explains why it has more then the expected 20 floors (since hotel floors are normally lower than office floors).
