Ryerson? that's snazzy. come one, come all.

i personally need to learn to fit in with Kuwaitis more. the overwhelming majority of my friends are non-Kuwaiti (for obvious reasons); the few that are Kuwaiti have all be completely westernized, so they're not conservative or traditional like the rest of them.

the main reason i go to Kuwait is to visit my family; otherwise, i visit restaurants and malls. words can't describe how irritated i am at going to the same malls over and over and over again; i'm glad The Avenues opened, and i'm looking forward to that one for a change instead of the overrated Marina World.

so, qwazy, what about you? why have you been going from place to place? and where have you lived?

people in Toronto are friendly !! finding a good torontorian in like finding a fish among sharks.

I also study here in Canada, but in the maritimes

and currently waiting for the faculty of Architecture's response ( sometime this month ) regarding my application.

Torontonians ARE friendly (as is my experience at least). true, a couple of jerks here and there and the occasional psycho who stares at you and flashes you on the subway, but they're otherwise a good bunch.

so, you're sacrificing yourself to architecture as well?

i hear ya. i still don't know if it's what i really want, though. i mean, i read about architecture in my spare time, i'm an artist, and i know a ridiculous amount of all things architectural. seems like i'm cut out for it? not quite. i think i've got the artistic aspect, but as far as the theoretical/practical part goes, i'm as good as a paperweight. interior/exterior relations, proportionality, rectilinearometry - are those even real words?? Hell if i know, my architecture professor uses them.

the maritimes? where exactly?

oh yeah: i hope the response from the Faculty is positive for you! cheers.
