Labi; thanks alot for all your photos and videoclips. But you should thank Buddy for his big contribution as well. This is not a contest on who posts what - the more photos, the better..

Never mind him guys, I guess he thought people would worship him just because he took some photos. I guess he thought no one should post anything anymore for the next 18 months.

Prishtina nė korrik bėhet me Park tė Arkeologjisė

Muzeu i Kosovės rrumbullakon punimet rreth Parkut Arkeologjik

Nga muaji korrik Prishtina do tė bėhet me Parkun e Arkeologjisė, bėjnė tė ditur drejtues tė Muzeut tė Kosovės tė shtunėn.

Garazhet e nisura, nuk dihet kur do tė pėrfundojnė

Vazhdon zvarritja e ndėrtimit tė garazheve te QKUK-ja

As Komuna e Prishtinės, por as punėkryesi nuk kanė ndonjė afat kur kėto garazhe mund tė llogariten tė pėrfunduara. 905 garazhet te QKUK-ja, tė nisura dy vjet mė parė nuk do tė pėrfundojnė derisa Komuna tė mos e pėrmirėsojė gabimin e saj “teknik” nė numrin e ngatėrruar tė parcelės

Labi i dont think there is a problem with updating us so often at different angles. We are not stationed in Prishtina so we will take anything we have. I do agree that sometime the same photos are posted in many different threads. Like if the arberia thread is updated, the general pristina projects thread is updated as well with the same pictures, which defeats the whole purpose of these projects having their own threads.

A lot of times when i am in a rush, i only check threads that have something new in them (highlighted) but then find out that really its the same stuff that i just saw in the other thread. That i could agree with you that sometimes it gets frustrating, but as far as contributing to this forum, we have to appreciate buddys efforts, because believe me it takes a lot of time and its quite tiring having to go out there and take these photos, also attach the way you are percieved by the locals and sometimes your own relatives too for going out there and taking pictures of buildings () lets just say its not easy.

Now we have also rrelied on y ou a lot to update us and we will continue to do so, but there is never too much of updating

If we didnt have all the new threads, this general thread would be almost twice as big as it is now... And it would have been very chaotic, disorganised, and difficult to get informed about the different projects.

I agree though that for projects in Lakrishte, Arberia and Kalabria - updates should be posted in these respective threads only. All other projects can be posted in this general prishtina thread.

You can tell that the city has cleaned up its act too; the number of cars in the 2007 photo is crazy and today, though there are still too many, the number of cars is lower per capita. The road is nicer too, the pedestrian walkways and in general it's cleaner. Though much remains to be done... those apartments look great!

I think this is a great photo, as it clearly demonstrates how this area has developed and changed in just 2 years... Not only the construction projects, but also all the things you mentioned (in general it looks alot cleaner)..

Also, you can notice quite a few ugly buildings have been demolished in Lakrishte...

Yeah that Lakrishte are has been the dump-site of Prishtina for way too long. Hopefully after ENK goes up people are persuaded to demolish some of those ugly commie-style buildings and their ugly-as-hell sweatshops full of bricks or whatever else they sell behind the stadium. Btw, today I went to the site where the new parking lot is going to be, behind old Boro & Ramizi and they were working on installing those checkout machines with tickets and all that. They had finished with the signalization and they were putting the finishing touches on it. As of tomorrow no cars will be allowed to park in the Pejton area and also in front of the buildings where I live, by Grand Hotel

After ENK, Donika II, EDRI, Axis, Rilindja, Arberia 3 appartments, the ringroad, and the roundabout are finished - I think this area will start becoming the new center of Prishtina... The standards and competition will rise - and this will again result in more high-quality future projects..

I'm glad that - finally - Prishtina is seeing some high-quality construction. The activity after the war, often haphazard and without any plan whatsoever, really hurt the city. The area around the city park used to be composed of cute one-story houses with gardens, now it's a jungle of apartments as high as 10-15 floors with a road of about 3 meters in between them. The migration after the war has totally strained Prishtina and it had turned into this giant market for everyone. Hopefully some of that will change with Prishtina growing and absorbing some of the (empty) suburbs.

This is where the Municipality has to do its job properly. Even though a part of the situation in the post war period is understandable. If it werent for the new regulation plans, the random construction activities would have continued in these areas too.. This is why I think Beqiri has been more succesful than Mustafa as a mayor. At least he managed to leave some positive marks on Prishtina for the future. Mustafa haven't yet approved a single regulation plan since he became a mayor, and everything is blocked. There are still areas that need regulation and proper planning - and the situation wont improve until he does his job how its supposed to be done. No excuses..

Let's not forget the square which, though expensive and done for election purposes, turned out great. Prishtina was in dire need of a pedestrian walkway like that. Initially the traffic suffered but things have stabilized. Mustafa keeps talking about stuff, but he doesn't do anything. Last summer he had literally plastered every single billboard in town with giant "PRISHTINA PO NDERTOHET" commercials (paid for by the citizens ) but I've yet to see what the city is doing.

To realise how incompetent Mustafa has proved to be, just think about the "Dr. Ibrahim Rugova Independence Square" project. How pathetic is it to not be able to organise a proper competition/tender to build a damn square (its not even big) which bears the name of the supposedly "all mighty idol" of the party he represents... He has tried to organise a competition 2 times, but they failed, because according to the law you cant announce a winner when there are less then 3 participants... Similar case with the regulation plans...
