Krazy, this is supposed to be a general burj dubai complex thread since we don't have one so don't delete it. There's new stuff coming up not related to emaar so might as well have one

Emaar launches The Loft Towers residential complex on Burj Dubai Boulevard
Dubai, UAE, December 11, 2006: Emaar Properties has launched a three-tower, high rise residential complex - The Loft Towers - on Burj Dubai Boulevard, a vibrant component of the Downtown Burj Dubai development. Amlak Finance is offering easy home finance options to own an apartment at the Central tower, which is currently open for sale.

With a maximum of six one- and two-bedroom apartments on each floor, the three towers – Central, East and West - are located above the podium of The Lofts, which was launched last year. Each tower also has a three-bedroom penthouse.

“While The Loft Towers adds to the residential components of Downtown Burj Dubai, it also gives its residents an exclusive living environment,” said Ms Bahiya Kayed, Assistant Director of Sales, Emaar Properties. “Located on the Burj Dubai Boulevard, The Loft Towers assures residents the easiest access to an array of retail, leisure and entertainment activities that characterise the boulevard lifestyle.”

The Loft Towers offer panoramic views over the signature projects on the northern crescent of Downtown Burj Dubai. The project is also in close proximity to Burj Dubai, billed to be the tallest tower in the world, and The Dubai Mall, the world’s largest shopping destination.

The East and West towers are 30 storeys high and the Central tower is 26-storeyed. A perfect urban lifestyle choice offering easy access to all commercial and financial nerve-centres in Dubai, The Loft Towers will be serviced by the Burj Dubai Tram and is only two tram stations away from the Burj Dubai Metro station.

“Residents at The Loft Towers can also access air-conditioned arcades on the Lofts from each tower lobby,” said Ms Kayed. “During summer, the arcade serves as a comfortable shopping environment, and in winter, it will enrich the boulevard experience further by serving as an inviting outdoor passage.”

Amenities at The Loft Towers include a swimming pool, fitness centre, changing rooms, meeting rooms and multi-purpose rooms. Residents and visitors can access five parking levels. “The amenities and easy access to key workplaces in Dubai make The Loft Towers an ideal residence for professionals, who like to stay connected with what is happening in and around the city,” added Ms Kayed.

Amlak Finance is offering easy home finance for potential home owners and investors. Finance of up to 96 per cent will be offered for tenures of up to 25 years. “The Loft Towers is a centrally located residential development and assures high returns making it an ideal investment option. The monthly installments are competitive compared to the rents they would pay for living in similar environments thus making our package ideal for potential home-owners,” said Khalid Zainal, Head of Sales and Distribution of Amlak Finance.

Potential home-owners can discover the unique living experience offered by the project by visiting Downtown Burj Dubai sales centre. Pre-registration will begin on December 12 and close on December 13 at 7pm. The launch is set for December 14, 2006. Sales staff from Emaar will assist in the pre-registration and sales process. Emaar unveiled Burj Views podium apartments in Downtown Burj Dubai
Mashreqbank is offering up to 95 per cent finance to own affordable homes in the project within the city’s vibrant downtown development.

The podium apartments are located on four floors and form an integral part of the three-tower Burj Views. The project features amenities such as swimming pools, fitness centre, steam rooms, squash courts, games room, indoor children’s play area, private garden courts and retail facilities.

“With its three-towers plus podium architecture, Burj Views is a unique development tucked comfortably along the outer edge of Downtown Burj Dubai,” said Ms Bahiya Kayed, Assistant Director of Sales, Emaar Properties. “The Burj Views residences were launched earlier to enthusiastic investor response and now Emaar is offering homes on the podium, including studio, one and two-bedroom apartments and duplexes. They are ideal for single executives, couples and small families.”

Dedicated elevators are provided for the podium units within each Burj Views tower. The podium will feature a leisure deck, garden courts and pool decks that can be accessed through common lobbies.

“The podium residences are also ideal for investors looking for attractive returns,” added Kayed. “The homes suit the needs of short-term residents and visitors, who will find the central location of Burj Views easy enough to access the commercial and entertainment components within Downtown Burj Dubai.”

Mashreqbank is offering up to 95 per cent finance on the homes that are priced from AED793,888 for a studio to AED2.68 million for a two-bedroom apartment. “Mashreqbank is a pioneer in giving new and innovative financial solutions to cater for all the needs of our clients. The easy financial scheme is for tenures of up to 25 years and offers potential home-owners the advantage of saving on rents,” said Nabeel Malik, Chief Marketing Officer, Mashreqbank.

Complementing the overall colour scheme of Burj Views, the podium will be clad in warm granite colours. The retail frontage will also have clear glass partitions that can be opened during winter.

Burj Views comprise two towers of 30 floors each and one tower of 26 floors. In all, the project will have 736 apartment units – including the podium homes - and 1,800 sq m of retail space. A temperature controlled arcade, accessible from each tower, will offer a shopping environment along the podium.

Potential home-owners can discover the living experience offered by the Burj Views on visiting the Downtown Burj Dubai sales centre. Pre-registration will begin on December 19 and close on December 20. The launch is set for December 21, 2006. Sales staff from Emaar will assist in the pre-registration and sales process. there was a pic of the BD in the KT business section saying tha dubai mall will have 1200 shops and will be 12.1m sq ft.

that sounds just about right, but i found a link showing it will have
1400 shops
and A total of 9.6 million sq/ft with over 5.6 million sq/ft for lease.
so if you add the 9.6 and 5.6 = 15.2 MILLION SQ/FT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
