Fantastic first shot! Still see a few parking lots that need a tower to replace them.

Love that final shot, you can clearly see where the new Marriot and Grand buildings will stand.

My reaction too. The first lots I would like to see filled are the ones on Figueroa from 7th St to Staples Center.

What really stands out to me in the panorama is Dodger Stadium. Lots of room for more entertainment, housing, hotels, etc., with improved transit to DT.

And it's hard for NIMBY's to object, when there are already 40k people going there 80 plus times a year.

From Shabdro Photo's Flickr stream - you can just about make out downtown towards the left, with the Pacific out to the right:

From Eyetwist's flickr stream, here's one of Barrington Av, West LA

I've just booked another trip to lovely LA in April, so expect to see a bunch of photos on my return

First two shots make LA seem like a very dense New York or Chicago. How I wish these big projects would speed up and make the skyline much bigger.

That first shot reminds me of the live cam backdrop they use on KCAL 9 news. XD

And Mojeda, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the skyline to get bigger, because it's not gonna happen anytime soon. It will expand, but it wont happen overnight. I appreciate LA's skyline for what it is. LA is not Chicago or New York...

I'll be back in about 3 years after my tour. I am just praying I will see a few buildings under development.

Are you sure you want to go with being "on tour"?
Do you have a killer stamp collection?
Are you someone we should know?

3 years? Who goes on tour for three years?
(If you're on extended military tours abroad
then thank you for your service.)

Contract with the Infantry. Going to be stationed in South Korea with another couple hundred men.

From the flickr stream of "Albert's Canon Photography". Dude seems to oversaturate the colours in every one of his photos, which is why these look a bit wild. Nice shots though.
