If I'm not mistaken it's the main building of the LA City Studios. It was also the 76 headquarters back in the days..... Can someone confirm!

I love LA, I think is the 2nd most populated city and the biggest urban area in US right?
actually not the biggest urban area.. in terms of land area, that would be New York. The New York urban area is twice as big as LA, but has only 1.5 times more people. http://www.demographia.com/db-ua2000pop.htm Also, just for comparison sake, the Atlanta urban area is 1.2 times larger (in land area than LA), but has less than 1/3 the amount of people!! Los Angeles's size and density is most comparable to Nagoya--though you'd never believe it when you look at this picture of Nagoya!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:N....jpg#filelinks but, as you can see in the following table, their density curves are basically the same: http://www.demographia.com/db-latorprofile.htm |

Ok thanks for the info!!
I was not knowledgable about Nagoya been so dense. It's true LA and Nagoyas density curves are almost the same. |

This might seem like a stupid question, but what are all of those huge warehouse looking white buildings?

Theyre huge warehouses as you mentioned. Theres also a huge rail yard right around there that is just outside the scope of that picture.
