Not exactly 20+, but today's sunrise was at 3:38 (it's too early, damn the people who cancelled DST) and sunset will be at 22:18. The night is short and it never becomes completely dark, evening afterglow soon turns into dawn. It's a period of so called "White Nights".

Yes, I meant daylight, not sunlight I was sailing on the Baltic in June through the night, and it really didn't get completely dark at anytime.

My question again is if the amount of daylight (length of day) has any impact on the building progress. Does the tower grow faster during the summer?

they work 24 hours a day, and reached a top speed of construction - 1 floor per 6 days. I don't think that "white nights" will help

Outrigger floors in skyscrapers act as the "stiffening ring". On these floors, the central core is connected with side columns. Bunk thick concrete walls, with a core of metal trusses - it is outriggers.
The "Lakhta Center" have four double-decker outrigger rings. (First ring on floors 17-18, and further to 16 floors each the last two - outrigger) - the outrigger rings separate the skyscrapers into five small buildings.
The creation of outrigger floors – is the most modern way to decrease stress for skyscrapers.

This is such an amazingly beautiful structure as well as highly complex. See the transition from floor 16 to 17 as an example. And they still manage to build this at the current high speed!

In complex "Lakhta Center", in addition to a skyscraper, has a multifunctional building (MFB). This consisting of two buildings connected by a courtyard atrium. MFB is no less interesting of the skyscraper - its smooth curved facade and the height differences from 7 to 17 floors accentuate the architectural composition of the complex.

Metal multifunctional building with an atrium. By area, it will not yield to the area of the skyscraper. Now there are working on 2-6 floors.
