A310 Air Transat in some new scheme....

This is a beauty of RWY 23. You can spot an A380 here and this as well.

Here it comes. The B777 AC probably going to some Asian destination for a 14-15 hour flight. Than again, it could be London Heathrow as well... Impressive take off none the less.

I agree. I like them because they love to explore the market which Air Canada ignores. Air Canada just wants to fly where they can fill up front cabin with expenive fares. No wonder why we are not linked with Prague or Budapest. I am sure Air Transat got some cash to stay alive. Here is their Cargo building in Dominican republic.

Qatar Airways boosts North America ties with new cargo routes to Atlanta, Houston, Toronto

By Associated Press, Updated: Sunday, October 9, 10:06 AM

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Qatar Airways is boosting cargo services to North America, days after its Gulf rival Emirates outlined plans for new U.S. passenger routes.

Qatar Airways said Sunday it will begin flying Boeing 777 freighters twice weekly to Atlanta and Houston and once a week to Toronto early next month.

The flights will originate in the Qatari capital, Doha, and stop in Luxembourg, where freight carrier Cargolux is based. Qatar Airways bought a 35 percent stake in Cargolux in June.

Qatar Airways already runs a cargo route to Chicago and has passenger services to Houston, New York and Washington.

Late last month, Dubai-based Emirates said it was expanding its U.S. service by adding nonstop flights to Dallas and Seattle next year.

Great shots!
That AC B77W is definitely not going to Asia. AC only flies the B77W to PEK and NRT and they depart at 13:10 and 14:05 respectively.

Your photos' exif data shows that you shot this at 10:36PM which can't be right but nevertheless this evening departure sequence is of AC872 to FRA

^ Thanks. Nah I took that picture around 5-30ish pm. (need to fix my setting) I went home around 7pm. On my way out, I noticed some regulars that waited right at the Wendy's. They knew where it went because they had radios on them. I was right over the street by the fence.

For 77W lovers. Here you got that 77W going to FRA. It arrived as I waited for my AZ651 to FCO.

Air France drops capacity to YYZ

As noted on airlineroute.net

"Paris CDG – Toronto 28MAY12 Summer season operates with 3-class Boeing 777-200ER, replaces Boeing 747-400 in S11. 777-200ER operates until the end of S12 season"

The AF B77E has 247 seats compared to their B744 which has 429.
This results in a significant capacity reduction of 1274 seats weekly on the route. I suspect that we'll see a possible upgauge to KL equipment to compensate. Are KL B77Ws in our future?

Also FYI AF's 3-class B77E has C, W and Y class only, no F-class on these birds.

As expected. I think Aliatlia is going to operate only three weekly flights during Dec-March. I am pretty sure there used to six of them last year?

What about Austrian?

That airline is hurting big time. It wouldn't surprise me if they end with the same fate as Olympic.

Austrian or Alitalia? I have been told that YYZ is underperformer for Alialia, and that's why we may see their B767 coming here for an other two to three years. I find it very shady to what happened to their market. How do you go from B747/MD11 to a B767. Let alone their huge dispora.

Btw American decided to axe Budapest from JFK... (Aa a side note.)

That's really sad. It seems like when YYZ see's a new carrier begin service there, another airline drops capacity or out completely.
