Two triple sevens in matter of five minutes on Saturday? Why not send an A380?

How do you figure? That's just different times for BA099 every day but Saturday. But hey, I'd love to see another A380 here!

Bth ETIHAD is getting some A380s this year, but I am not sure if there is enough demand in order to deploy it to YYZ.

x6 - means flight operates everyday except day 6 (i.e Saturday)
6 - means flight only operates on day 6 (i.e. Saturday)

EY will indeed be deploying their A380 to YYZ in S15.

I'm looking forward to the decommissioning of Terminal 3, it's starting to look very run down and the last flight I connected through there my luggage got stuck on a malfunctioning conveyer belt which nearly caused me to be late for my flight! Great photos on this thread btw!

I think there is that international pier which was built after, or perhaps updated in some later stage. A part from that, it is indeed getting tired. If they can build something bigger and better, why not!

Why not? $$$$$. Don't fix something unless it's broken. T3 is fine.

I don't believe there are any plans to decommission Terminal 3 at this time...

There definitely are no plans. In fact, they've begun the same 'retail' upgrade in T3 as in T1 (or are very soon to start). If anything, T3 will only get better.

They've begun or is it still being planned?

I'm really curious as to what the retail upgrades in T3 will be.. Keep in mind this was the terminal that hosted a Harrod's when it opened!

I saw some hoarding up in the little "mall", land-side, but to be honest, I'm not sure if the duty free has begun to change yet. From previous conversations with the GTAA, it is going to happen though. I spend most of time flying out of T1, so I'm usually not terribly up to date on what's happening in T3.

I was going to say that T3 isn't that bad at all. My understanding was that the next "big" expansion was to further Expand T1 with another Hammerhead.
