Austrian's 767 was 2-3-2. I sat in the middle-aisle seat and the seat between me and my fellow passenger was empty. Pure economy bliss!

So, I have a random question, and this seems like the appropriate enough place to ask it. I'll be flying out of YYZ (YYZ-JFK on AA) in a few weeks, and was looking at the T3 terminal map.

After security, It shows 3 sections: one for transborder flights, one for domestic, and one for international non-US flights. Are those sections segregated, or if I am bored and have time to spare, could I walk around the other sections?

Thanks!

All segregated. Otherwise, there is no need for that transborder facility for US flights. People go through the domestic entrance and get into the US without any immigration screening.

International (non-US) and domestic are kind of mixed together in the same pier. However only international flights use the hammerhead at the end of the pier.

The most likely routes Air Transat's A330-300s fly to would either be Europe or the Caribbean, especially that either service can be served well with the aircraft. Just look at the seating map when you book your flight to give yourself an idea how it will look like.

Budapest added via Montreal on Transat

airtransat in Summer 2015 season will introduce new service in Hungary, where it plans to operate weekly Toronto – Montreal – Budapest A330 service, from 17JUN15 to 08OCT15. However, the airline currently shows it has no local traffic rights on Montreal – Budapest sector. Further adjustment is likely in the coming weeks, as operational schedule was loaded in the GDS within the last few hours.

YYZ to LPA

This one was very interesting. Did not see it coming in a million years but who knows. I have been to the Canary Islands and I love it.

The Deputy Ministry of Tourism, Government of the Canary Islands yesterday made public the second round of flights Development Fund supported 16 new connections at the request of the island councils. In this new list highlights the route between the Canadian city of Toronto and Gran Canaria and Paris - and Moscow Lanzarote - Fuerteventura. With this program, "the Canary Islands Government seeks to open new markets and then try to secure them," as stated by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Ricardo Fernandez de la Puente.

The islands most routes concentrated in this second tender are Gran Canaria and La Palma, with four each. Regarding the first, the council has asked Gando paths that connect with Shannon (Ireland), Bologna (Italy), said Canadian city and Rome, published a second time after being deserted on the previous one bonifiquen occasion.

In the case of Toronto, airlines can bid until the 27th of February for 213,796 euros aid. The conditions of the contest is to maintain the connection for two years, with one flight a week from October 25 next year. The Canary Islands government hopes to create this way a minimum of 10,400 seats, as is clear specifications published yesterday Promotor public company.

The other three flights affecting Gran Canaria have small grants. It is planned that these three routes commence operating from March 29, 2015 and have a duration of at least two years.

Hmm get ready to pay up additional $200/$300 for a direct to BEG. LH/OS will just "correct" the fares to secure their cash cow crew from the Balkans. JU will try to compete with TK, and target the bigger diasporas in the middle East and beyond Belgrade. JU's service to YYZ will not be a game changer for the Yugoslav diaspora. They will continue to do the stopover.

Currently access to YTZ is only via ferry. A pedestrian tunnel is currently under-construction. I am not sure when this tunnel will be open to the public.
