Interesting news regarding Royal Jordanian. Hopefully it materializes for summer 2016, would love to have it in YYZ! Considering what is said in the CAPA article, maybe we can finally see an increase in weekly frequencies for RJ considering Toronto is the larger market...

Booked a flight out of T1 during the 2nd week of December. I will snap some pictures if anything changed.

Is it my imagination or is AC running a second flight to HKG? AC 17? Is that because of a previous cancellation or is this a second scheduled flight?

Has anyone else noticed that China Eastern cancels a lot of its flights to YYZ? Seems abnormally high to me for a ULH flight. Whereas AC seems to be going on as normal. Is this an operational issue with the airline? I've noticed 3 cancellations in the past 2 1/2 weeks.

I'm not sure why. Toronto to Shanghai is high demand. I do know China Eastern is also doing really well financially, so I'm clueless.

In other news, apparently Jet Airways is closing its hub in Brussels! It will in turn cut the service it has to Toronto and its other North American destinations. Not sure what their next moves are, but Brussels Airlines might fill the spot They have requested slots at YYZ.

Can't post links, sorry!

Very interesting indeed! I wonder who will be the first carrier to bring the A350 to YYZ? Maybe Ethiopian?

I have been following some development on JU's new longhaul plans. They are expected to return to JFK in 2016 after many moons. They were also quick to announce that their second destination will be PEK. So no plans to return to YYZ as of now, but I did say that PEK will come ahead of YYZ on their priority list.

I am flying tonight to Peru on a corporate/vacation trip. Will look for some new improvements if they are any at the T1.

Brussels Airlines is starting YYZ as of April 2016.

As was expected with the pullout of Jet Airways to Amsterdam, they will codeshare with Air Canada.

In other news, TAP is also rumoured to be looking at YYZ again. They are also looking at YUL and BOS.

Discussion is noted here:

Looks like China Southern will begin YYZ service in Aug, and Rossiya Airlines will be bringing back a Moscow-Toronto route, just no confirmed date yet:

Westjet Encore starting Nashville from YYZ and restarting mainline service to LA. Betting that this will be a codeshare with Delta on both.

Is TS halting YYZ-NCE as I read it on airliners? It sounded too good to be true.

I flew out of Pearson in December, so I snapped a few pictures.

I am planning to do some flying this year. Thinking to start domestic to Vancouver and get a feel of AC 787s. In the summer, I plan to go to Serbia and connect via JFK onto old good JU Air Serbia.
And for the end, the plans is to wrap it up with an A380 Emirates to Dubai for Xmas. So lets see what comes out of it.

Why is that seat wider? Is that seat reserved for fat positive passengers?
