This photo is really confusing me. How can that British Airways tail be where it is. Where's the rest of the plane that should be poking out beyond the nose of the KLM plane on this side of it? There's no way that KLM is blocking it all.

As exhausting as that flight is, I'd take it every year if I could.

Simple, the gates at the end of Pier C of T3 are all on angles. The BA jumbo is basically at 45 degrees to the KLM one.

According to Finnish forumers on airliners.net, Finnair is planning to introduce their A330-340 on the Toronto route once they have enough frames. No lies, I totally added the Finnair ones cause I know you'd goosh all over them.

Transaero changes to Canada S10
leave a comment »

Transaero from 26MAY10 once again increases Moscow Domodedovo – Toronto service from 1 to 2 weekly. However, unlike Summer 2009, 2nd weekly flight will be nonstop flight, instead of routing via Montreal on the inbound flight. This means Transaero is not serving Montreal this Summer.

Schedule as follows:

UN517 DME1055 – 1325YYZ 762 36
UN518 YYZ1515 – 0840+1DME 762 36

One Comes and another one leaves. As of March Aeromexico will pull out of Toronto and Montreal. So, we will have AC and Mexicana serving the route to Mexico City.

http://www.airliners.net/aviation-fo....main/4696909/

I don't know if this is confirmed yet but normally on airliners.net they are pretty good and getting the info before hand.

I heard the Saudi royals were in Toronto for a shopping trip. Must be nice being part of an absolute monarchy. Interesting to note the tail engine of the L1011; the S-duct is clearly visible leaving me to wonder where are the fan blades? Must be deeper in.

I dig the pics, yyzhyd

Is it really necessary to have just one weekly flight? Seems like a big waste just for a slot and advertising for the flight.

Those guys have been expanding into Brazilian market lately. IMHO there is already Air Transat.... Portugal as a country has a low capita, I doubt there is enough room for the two airlines.

I would be more than happy if we had Air Transat in Belgrade.
