 Great, Westin sold its landmark Singapore hotels to Swissotel, who sold part of that to Fairmont. Then it's returning now via Asia Square.

haha, that's why when i first read the news, i thought the hotel was too small for westin to make a comeback. It was anticipated that they would come back bigger than they left.
But they probably had no choice but to sell the landmark hotel when they were short of funds. I'm hoping one day, some local investor would buy back Raffles Hotel too. Because now Fairmont Raffles who took over is just building many Raffles Hotels around the world. There's Raffles Hotels everywhere. 2 in Cambodia, a few in China and Middle East. It's just not the original Raffles Hotel we know anymore. |

This is starting to be a bit of a mess and im moving in there next year
Only ever looks like thre is a 4 or 5 persons on site T1 top is clearly a complex bit of construction but its the area at the bottom that concerns me nothing going on, diggers sat on big piles of dirt etc come just get the area looking good!! |
