Yes. It is nearly topped out, and now, the skeleton is now being surrounded by all the floors and windows.

Its just sad that there aren't any more supertall towers planned for either city in near future.

That's okay. We've got other building construction sites scattered around the main Salesforce Tower area. And by the way, the part I'm most excited with would be the rebirth of the Transbay Terminal right below the Skyscraper, dubbed the future Grand Central of the West.

If demand keeps rising in SF and the Tranbay Terminal with the Highspeed Rail booms bussiness, we could have another 300 footer in the next 10 years.

Has anybody got an idea if there is any specific name for this shape that makes up the outline of Salesforce Tower's floor plan? Pls. don't suggest a squircle, as it has straight sides, not arched like here. I used similarly shaped columns in my designs, but I would like to use an official name for this shape, which I temporarily call a "squarc".

We should probably just call it a Pelli.

I don't think San Francisco getting another 300' is going to take 10 years. Won't even take 10 months.

It looks like a superellipse.

Yes, definitely it's one of them! Thank you for suggestion. The only problem is that there's quite a wide range of superellipses:

I tend to think that particularly this one is squoval, but it's extremely hard to find any sensible info about it.

It looks like they are lowering the crane on the north side. Does anyone know if they are re-configuring the cranes for the final phase?
