Yup, and we may never see a taller building in SF ever again.

It's also the tallest office building west of the Mississippi.

Wilshire Grand is of course technically taller but is not primarily office

It is taller only because of the spire. Without the spire, it is shorter than Salesforce Tower.

Absolutely correct! Hence the "technically."

I think we all agree this is an awesome tower and we're lucky The City is getting it!

Awesome tower except the fact that there is no observation deck and I just wish it was even taller.

I agree with the observation deck sentiment, but if this was much taller it would look too awkward in the skyline. At the projected height this is a great development.

I just wish it was about 1200 feet tall. Oh well. They made too big of deal about the shadows.

It seems they haven't done any advance regarding the top for about 3 weeks now, I thought it would be toped out by this date at the rate they were working.

Wow, this has really shot up since i last checked this out! I don't usually comment on the US construction forums but San Francisco is my favourite US city having visited twice i really need to come back to see the stunning views of this tower on the skyline from Bay Bridge

World-class San Francisco! Keep it up
