Well done SF
I have read that there is a building under construction in Philadelphia that will have a higher roof than Salesforce.

The pinnacle is higher (1,121 feet), as is the highest building in LA (1,100 feet). But the CITC in Philadelphia has a roof height of 996 feet, the main roof is 911 feet.

Ok, maybe Salesforce has the highest occupy able floor outside of New York and Chicago.

On them not having an observation deck on the top of the building, I believe it is a huge mistake, especially it tells me it does not want the public to share in its spoils of having the tallest structure in the city... and that the top decks are only for their staff members. Maybe we should tell Salesforce or their developers to have an observation deck that is open to the public for everyone's enjoyment.

I heard that the top floor will have an event space that Salesforce will allow non-profits to use free of charge. So I guess becoming a part of a non-profit might be the only way for a semi-average person to see the view from the top.

On a similar note, I wonder if the top of the Oceanwide Center will be open to the public. The renders show that the roof will have some sort of garden, so it might be a possibility. (Though I doubt it) :/

If there isn't any word about the top floor being open to the public, petition Salesforce and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (if not also Parks and Rec) to open up the top floor or two for the public as viewing decks.

I congratulate San Francisco on this fine super-tall skyscraper. It redefines the city's skyline!

Yup, looks great, but the problem is there is no observation deck. Ugh!

I think there are a lot observation decks around the city but popular one are Twin Peaks and Coit Towers for tourists. If you are local residents here , there are other spots but you have to know.

San Francisco has a lot hills so I am not sure people is willing to pay $20 or more to go up on the top building to see the city view while there are many spots in the city with better view than Salesforce and it is ....free. New York City and Chicago are all flat so the top decks are the best to view these cities.

Most of the tallest building or buildings in major cities have a observation deck including cities that have great scenery like Seattle, Hong Kong, and a few others. So, this is a disappointment in that regard.
