Classy street. Great pics that epitomise the thread's title.

Classically packed facade, caryatids, atlantes, dentils and even a meander (+ the usual classical features). Very nice.

Zürich could almost have been a Scandinavian city from these photos.

Bahnhofstrasse must be great in December! Are there any (bigger) areas in Zurich with stores in passages, like in Berne?

Not really - Bern is a concepted city with archades, the Bahnhofstrasse was the city wall and moat. It turned into a business street only with the city's extrem development in the 19th century.

Maybe the closest you can get to it is the Limmatquai in the old town:

I'm not sure if I ever walked here, but I like arcades so much. You don't get wet and yet you can walk on fresh air.

Btw, is the English expression for Bern (Berne) still in use?

It shines like a really clean and pleasant city. Also it's appraised the activity and the active life of a great city in the first photos. The people ramble occupied thinking about its purchases... With respect to the architecture, I adore the classic architecture of that style. Someday I must prepares some photos for you on that type of architecture in my city.

Good work Jakob.
