What computer games are you playing? - Page 2

I've been Call of Duty junkie since it got out. I have a downloaded version and for the last couple of months the nearest cracked server I could find was in NL, so my ping was crap.

A couple of weeks ago I got CoD2 and there are tons of cracked Canadian and American servers.

The scoped Lee-Enfield and Kar98 are my favourite weapons of course

The power-ups ranged from inflatable rings, to rocket-powered skates, icarus wings, and spring shoes. The bad guys included mad dentists who would run around laughing as they tried to drill you. There was also a "nerd herd" that would trample all over you, and a "cupid" angel with arrows that would make you walk around in a dazed, amorous state.

My younger cousin had Toejam & Earl and we'd just sit there playing it for hours with other people watching out of excitement!

So here you go, try these. Not necessarily the best emulator but it should get you playing T&J - and other games besides - in (almost) true Megadrive style.

Also Company Of Hereos. RTS.

and the dooms all the way to number 3.

Noting else to do till chrimbo, got a beastly PC, why not?

Football Manager 2007 on the laptop.

Splinter Cell Rouge Agent on the Xbox 360, which graphically is superb, and im not even running it on an HDTV.

I did the easy level in 8 seconds, the medium in 68 seconds and the expert in 102 seconds.

you wanna play intermediate more... you can half that time

beginner is pure luck, on one computer i managed to get it in 1 second, was a case of click and win.... at home mines only 6 though

The last game i played was Shadow of the Colossus.

It was follow up to ICO which was in my opinion as near to perfection as you get in a game.

Because of that i was a bit disappointed in Shadow. If i had never played ICO then i'm sure i would have thought it was amazing but as it is it just didnt have the scope of ICO and the controls got a bit fiddly and unpredicatable at times.

Dont get me wrong, its a beautiful game, but it just didnt have the same interactive feel ICO did.

I got Shadow about the time my son was born about 10 months ago and started it but still havent finished yet (wish i had the time or brain energy to play bloody games!).

Anyone in Manchester area who wants to borrow it - or iCO for that matter - is welcome to.

Gears of War (again).... me and seb have just played two player up to the beserker, and as a team game it is so totally and utterly brilliant... and brilliant.
