These photos are SOOOOOOOO nice. Too bad you didn't take pictures of TT2 when you came back...I will next time I go back to Taiwan. =D

hehe..i know this place, it's in yangming mountain. it's a charming restaurant, where i've already eaten 3 or 4 yearsa go. i always am happy to see again places where i've already been. thx for sharing

At this moment they closed parts of the roads around the terminal 1. Also the construction of MRT station is on full swing. Along the way you can also see large area of construction around the museum - I guess there will be another MRT station there, hotel and China Airlines building.

You know, after spending 20 hours at the airports and in the planes I really was not in the mood of taking photos, hehe.

This is coffee shop and ballet school (I think), it is at 中山北路, near Taipei Fubon Bank building.

i like this apartment complex. taiwan should build more buildings like these - more glass exteriors, less grey concrete and pink/brown tiles.

The fate of many historical buildings, but this one is lucky.
Many of these kinds of buildings survived from the WWII and modenlization of Taipei, but were burnt down in the past 10 20 years! because they are on the valuable lands, which worth millions and millions of dollars.

This is the best news and will greatly enhance Taiwan's already impressive transportation infrastructure

people on skyscrapers.cn have suggested the construction around T1 is that of the airport MRT. they have not heard anything about the T1 renovation having started. sure is depressing to hear this. hopefully they r wrong.

they havent started airport mrt construction yet because they haven't even completed the financing of the project.

I don't know about financing airport MRT, but I can confirm they have started work on this MRT line already. On one side of T1 you can see large closed area with rendering of MRT station and the work is proceeding. Anyway, from other 2 sides of T1, quite far away from MRT station area, they closed another areas with different type of fence - that's why I thought the renovation of T1 has started. There was not any information there though, so I may be wrong.
