So what did you get for Christmas 2006?

What did you lot get for Christmas this year?

I got a Nikon D70 with 18-80 mm lens (pretty good for a starter) off my mom funded by the grandparents. I got a Sony Ericsson K570i off my girlfriend. I got the usual chocolates, deodarant and clothes.

I think I did quite well this Christmas.

Butterfield: Get your Chia pet this year?

Two long sleave tops, a couple of magic tricks (something I am quite into), a calendar and a shirt....

Hi-fi,
Electric Shaver,
A Finger Drumkit,
The Timewaster Letters by Robin Cooper,
& two books on architecture and design.

God bless this secular capitalist spending spree of a festival!

Not a lot, but the belt's tight due to the Moben kitchen we just got and the ludicrously expensive trip to Oz we're just about to go on (for my 30th birthday).

Arsenal calendar
Lily Allen & Amy Winehouse albums
...Plus a pair of Trailertrash Dolls

Trash Talkin' Turleen (Baby included) :

Saying, amongst other things, "Pour me a double, I'm drinking for two!"

And JerWayne Junior (beer included) :

Saying, amongst other things "15 of them beers and you still is ugly!"

My Other Half's sense of humour

And what did you give? Did you gift items of more or less financial value than you received? Sounds like your Christmas has been a small milestone in a process of inter-generational wealth cascading, which is necessary and tax efficient. Well done.

Well I've got mostly money, dvds, cds etc but my plan is to get £500 by Wednesday and buy a nice 26" LCD Samsung TV.

My bank account's empty now! I gave my girlfriend a necklace (which I won't reveal the price of as she is in the room with me). Gave my mom a pair of shoes she's wanted. Got my brother some DVDs and CDs. Then got bits and bobs for everyone else which might as well get thrown away or thrown into a dark corner by the end of 2007.

ps...Tubey is it a bad thing that I recognize and I have drank the beer that is parodied on the Turleen doll?

You'll find a few Brummies say 'mom' and not 'mum'! I've been saying it since I was knee high to a grasshopper.

I got no reason to go home, I'm already there!

Lets just say I got it from H. Samuel and I've been saving for at least 18 months to afford something like it. She better not leave me tomorrow otherwise I'd be really gutted/

Mom makes more sense then mum.

Mother = Mom

Muther = Mum

Incidentally, I received vast amounts of money which I shall use for driving lessons. The rest was pretty much the usual, CD's, DVD's, chocolate and alcohol.

Sweet F.A really

Some Boxers, a glow in the dark screwdriver set , and the usual Deodorant and showgel sets - enough to last me until july.

But i've been playing with my little bro's pressents - so that kept me quiet
