So we are back to 365m?!

unless the very top part of the antena is 11 m taller , which is the difference in what Culwulla is showing in his diagram.

cumulus nimbus congesti is the proper term for this cloud if I rember right from my metrology classes. these things easily get 5-6km tall. a couple of days ago one of those caused rain over Yaz island in abu dhabi.

... yes, and I guess with intensified colors and contrast or some filters from the graphical software, the sky looks more dramatic here on this photo than it was in reality.

Spire alarm? No, certainly these are only the temporary flags for National Day on top. More important: facade work is visibly going on.

I hate the spires. They are far too thin. Reminds me of HHHR Tower's.

Better than nothing - especially if they add the octoganal "diamonds" around the lower parts later, as shown on the renderings (I really hope they'll do).

I'd prefer nothing. I like the tops without them.

I wouldn't jump to conclusions; these towers aren't even topped out yet.

I like those towers very much. They're one of my favourite Dubai construction however I think they'd be better without any spires... bah! I wouldn't call these spires. If those are spires, why don't call Sears Tower antennas spires ?
