What you'd see from a plane if dubai was shrouded in clouds below 300 meters. The Burj Dubai really is massive. i have a tendency to take for granted how tall it's going to be.

And piling is going on.

However the building is part of an complex and due to the location, no one has checked the site to see if piling is continuing on the entire site (meaning for this building as well) or just in part of it (maybe for some other buildings only).

i counted the floor's and it has approximately 72 floors

When you think about it, theres almost more 300m+ towers either U/C or approved in dubai then in the rest of worlds 300m+ completed towers

Yup, because they have loads of money, plenty of land, and its a new new city, just like Hong Kong back in the 70s and 80s, or New York in the 30s and 40s, Dubai is the new deal.

no we are pretty sure it has to be 71F, that office tower you refer to is the parking structure.
