******* Las Flores Surf Club and Lodge - El Salvador CA ******

Las Flores Surf Club and Lodge – El Salvador

7 years in the planning, Las Flores Surf Club, designed by architect Rodrigo Barraza Dominguez, is now a reality. Las Flores Surf Club is Central America's first architecturally designed surfing resort, located directly on the point at Las Flores, El Cuco on a beautiful isolated beach amidst lush tropical surroundings. Las Flores Surf Club is located 2.5 hours east of the El Salvador international airport, in the Department of San Miguel, in a coastal area also known as the "Wild East".

THE LAS FLORES RESTAURANT
For the 2007 season, Las Flores Resort will feature 2 distinct restaurants:

"Surfside Grill"
Hours of Operation: 8am to 11am daily The Surfside Grill serves a Salvadorian & American style breakfast each morning from 8am to 11am. A Continental breakfast is also provided for resort guests only from 5am to 7am.

"Europea del Mar: Pescados, Mariscos y Carnes"
Hours of Operation: 1:00pm to 4:00pm, and 6:00pm to 8:00pm daily Las Flores Surf Club has recently hired Executive Chef Tommy Zee to launch its new signature restaurant, "Europea del Mar: "Pescados, Mariscos y Carnes".
Chef Zee was the Executive Chef for Royal Star Sport Fishing of San Diego, CA from 2004-2006, where he prepared a wide variety of eclectic meal selections featuring California and International cuisine inflected with French fusion. In addition to imaginative dishes of oceanic as well as continental origin, Chef Zee's artistic presentations compliment every serving distinguishing his culinary creations as far more than simple meals. Europea del Mar will serve a familiar variety of California, Latin and International cuisine inflected with Mediterranean fusion, and be open for LUNCH and DINNER daily.

Exit the ocean into a cool fresh water shower, put your surfboard up on the racks, and walk up the steps for a swim in our infinity pool with views of the South Pacific groundswells detonating on the point, and order an ice cold mojito from the swim-up bar, or grind some fresh ceviche, or a cheeseburger and french fries, a taste of home. Kick it with your bros in our lounge and watch the latest surf vids or shoot some pool while you recharge for your next session. Choose from our selection of gourmet righthand point breaks: Flores, Vaca, Toro, Mango, and Bongo.
Las Flores Surf Club is a "surfing resort", designed with facilities, amenities, comfort and décor ideal for the seasoned surf traveler who wants it all "dialed in", or for couples seeking a romantic surf escape to this remote hidden quadrant of El Salvador where time has stopped
In an effort to promote sustainable surfing tourism, Las Flores Surf Club is limited to a maximum of 16 surfing guests per week (additional non-surfers welcome). Boat trips to premier breaks on the East coast are organized from the resort with a maximum of 8 surfers per trip and staggered on different departure times to ensure that surfers spread out and divide the Wild East's surfing resources to enjoy the waves with minimal crowd nuisance.
