HeyHo,

what's the current status of the High speed line between Milan - Verona - Venezia?

I know that there is no construction works for that line between Verona and Venezia.

How is it between Milan and Verona? Has construction already started?

When will it be finished between Milan - Verona?
When will it be finished between Milan - Verona - Venezia?

[I know that it's finished since a few years) between Padua and Venezia]

Thanks

could you please explain than because Bombardier is given only 42 % of the money if they have developed, as you write, 99,9% of the train? Could you also give a link to a complete list of ALL the components made for the train where it is clearly written that 99,9% of them are developed by Bombardier? If you are not able to do this this claim is clearly a false statement.

Here is a link to a well known and trusted rail journal for my written statement: http://www.railwaygazette.com/news/s...ed-trains.html

The Treviglio-Brescia section is under construction so it might open before the end of the decade, the rest, who knows? Although Brescia-Verona will likely be the next section, maybe before 2030.

Milano-Treviglio is in service since a few years.

I home with the arrival of Etr1000 TI will use the existing fleet to add services with a mixture of traditional and av, more even than today. Like Turin-Asti-Alessandria-piacenza-Roma or Bergamo-Brescia-Roma or Turin-Milan-Venezia and many more

A 360 km/h trainset with those gaps in the roof?

Suerly they must be plannign to fill them in as that's going to cause a lot of air resistance and noise.

It's a 360km/h train only on paper...

In facts, it will never reach that speed on our network.

No, it is based on the Bombardier V300 Zefiro platform, and built by Bombardier and Ansaldo Breda.

No. It is an Ansaldo Breda train (http://www.ansaldobreda.it/en-gb/pro...efiroengb.aspx)

It will be put in service with the winter timetable of 2014/2015. It means that it will enter commercial service on the 10th of December 2014 (more or less... It may be the 11th, the 13th or the 9th).

Hey,

two questions concerning the 50 new ETR 1000:

1) When will the first train enter commercial service? Is September 2014 still accurate?

2) Are the new trains equipped to go into any foreign countries?
France, Germany, Suisse or Austria might be an option today or in a few years after the new tunnels get to be opened.

Or is it only an option to make a rebuild in a few years and then they are able to run international? With what international systems do they get delivered?

I don't see TI going abroad. I mean they are literally doing everything possible to keep foreign competitors out and have by themselves no interest at all in expanding their network to other countries.

2) They - technically speaking - are. Those trains run on 25kV AC, so almost every HSL in europe. But they aren't meant to go abroad: FrecciaRossa is a link between south and north-west of italy (i.e. from Salerno to Torino via Roma, Firenze, Bologna, Milano) only. There isn't - at the moment - any project to send them on cross-country lines.
