I thought a thread about Golden Tower was missing around here

Found some info:

ARAB Bank has signed an agreement with the promoters of Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani and Sons Holding Company to fund the construction of FBQHC's Golden Tower office building.
The proposed 32-storey Golden Tower will be built at a cost of QR87.5mn and will sit on a 4,000sq m plot on Al Wahda Street, in the West Bay area.
The agreement was signed by Arab Bank's regional manager Ghassan Bundakji and deputy regional manager Saeed Abu Gharbieh, and Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim al-Thani, chairman of Faisal bin Qassim Holding Group.
Bundakji said the Arab Bank funding of the Golden Tower project was part of its policy of financing projects that contributed to Qatar's development.
He said the booming Qatari market provided tremendous opportunities for banks.
Sheikh Faisal said that his group was extremely happy to join hands with Arab Bank in the Golden Tower project. He said major investments by his group were in the areas of commercial establishments, hotels, office buildings and residential complexes.

Thanks for the thread. I thought we had one, but I could not find it. We posted some info about it somewhere in the Doha Construction parts 1 and2 but its deep in the photos section.

Work is already almost a third of the way up!!

Suzan the render looks differenent than the actual tower being built. The actual tower has two sections in front.

to much white hurts your eyes

i have no idea why i said that but i think its realated in some way and you know its not the only tower with gold facade al-dana tower has golden facade too
