The left side of the toll booth is cut off, was there any ETC lanes at the left end?

what is the typical traffic speeds on that road? I see sign 120, but have a tendency to think people would drive much faster. But then, the government is pretty authoritarian and maybe they don't for fear of sword I guess, is it like Poland or France?

I don't think there are a lot of speed cameras though. In France people do have fear though(not PL) of speeding because 100% chance you get the fine... My colleague drove to F and he got 14 fines, all on motorways. He had to give out 850€ from the company budget, so he was fired @SIMSI: what does that Persian scripture on photo 39 mean?

In other pictures of Iranian freeways that have been posted in this thread you can see that there are many speed cameras. I don't know if enforcement is widespread though.

Authoritarian governments have little to do with driver behavior anyway -based on this, Russia or China would be the most liberal countries in the world, whilst France or The Netherlands would be totalitarian dictatorships.

I noticed max is 120. Not too many cameras, but a lot of police on the road on checking point with drivers speed limit. Max of my taxi driver was around 140.

It means "Protecting the Environment ....... public responsibility ........ "
the sentence is cut off, probably "protecting the environment is public responsibility"

Ontario has like a whole lane between the white continuous line and the median tho, not sure what the point of the space is in ontario still, maybe something to do with winter and skidding?

originally its just remnant of the original narrow grassy median, which didn't work (series of gigantic crashes in 1990's) but the tallwall is so thin there is extra space left

and still people crash their cars and leave them in the left lane instead of parking on the left shoulder
