In Iran Motorways are called Freeways. These highway that doesn't have the freeway standards are called expressways. A road type lower than Freeways

Yes, Peugeot is a very big brand in Iran. The Pars is a facelift of the 405, and was originally to be named Peugeot Persia.
Most cars in Iran are manufactured locally, because almost all cars run on leaded fuel (hence the incredible air pollution in Iranian megacities).

Motorway 2 from Tehran to Qazwin
It's one of the most important roads for Iran connecting Tehran to Tabriz and from there on to Turkey and Europe or Middle East. All the traffic from Tehran to Azerbaijan or Armenia and Georgia is using also the same road until Qazwin. The first part of the road is actually urban motorway through Tehran's industrial western part and then it continues through western satellite towns so first ~50 km of motorway is very important for Greater Tehran also. image hosted on flickr  2 by vatse, on Flickr Junction of motorway with Ekbatan expressway.
