And also there is something that I really hope will happen in the not so distant future. We badly need a new bridge or a tunnel between Ruse and Giurgiu. The current one simply does not have the capacity...the traffic has increased 3-4 times since jan 2007. In the future, I see Ruse-Giurgiu as a growing aglomeration of more than 250.000 people, with more than 500.000 in the region and with the nearby Bucurest with its 3 mln people. The differences will slowly fade away. The place has a great potential, with loads of unexplored history (AFAIK the REAL Dracula's castle is not far away from Giurgiu...and the beauties of Rusenski Lom with its still not well-known castles like Cherven and Rock churches and monastries...)
Some day..these dreams would all come true. Actually I hope the same will happen with BG-MK and BG-SR. We should forget about our primitive Balkan nationalism, especially BG-RO-GR-MK-SR have much more in common than those stupid wars we led in our past... Anyway...no more off-topic bullshits

mazare would better cut all the bushies round the shipyard when the tourists will come at the new trident plaza.... |

Yes our resorts in bulgaria are better but they look like big cities.I don't like this.If I want to be in a city I would stay at home(it is cheaper). We did a big mistake overbuilding our coast. One day we will have to demolish hotels and plant trees. And it is not only the coast our mountains are overbuilt (see Bansko).Only the Rodopes are still untouched but I think this will change soon.I still wonder how one could buy an apartment in Bansko even without seeing it.Bansko is a balloon and it will soon explode.I was there several months ago and I found out that there is nothing but hotels and ski lifts there. If I were local citizen I would sell everything I had there and move somewhere else.I was there 5 years ago and then it was a pleasant small town. Now there is a striptease club next to the elementary school. It is destroyed.I have read that about 900 million euro were invested in it in the recent years and I think it is too much for a town of 5000 inhabitants.it was destroyed.

Constanta is a great place for vacation. Does it still have nude beach?
Some people were upset and complained because the banner of Bucharest on SCC was not so nice. I think you can create a thread in the international forum with title "Constanta - a paradise for vacation". Last edited by kelvinyang; May 11th, 2007 at 12:37 PM. |
