Mega Spotting Day At Nagoya (But No 747LCF!!)

So yesterday was a cold winter's day by Ise Bay...waited for the 747LCF to show to pick up the first 787 wing sections for delivery to Boeing but she never came. Found out when I got home that the first delivery has been delayed two days due to some problems at Mitsubishi. At any rate...the day wasn't wasted...enjoy the views from NGO!

seems like quite a nice and fairly busy airport over at nagoya. Its quite interesting to note that all of the American aircraft seem to have come in from another asian airport and not from the states directly, such as TPE or Manily or maybe even Guam or Saipan.

Also that very long Cathay Pacific plane, its a 777-300ER isnt it?

the Cathay plane is a 777-367. Their -300ERs haven't been delivered yet. As for the US connections, US airlines operating into Nagoya currently are (note there are three nonstop flights to the US):

CO:

HNL-NGO 1x daily
GUM-NGO 2x daily

NW:

SPN-NGO 1x daily
GUM-NGO 1x daily
NRT-NGO 1x daily
DTW-NGO-MNL 1x daily

UA:

SFO-NGO-TPE 1x daily

I love this airport. It looks simple and yet pretty.

I'm basing this judgment on the pictures I've seen of NGO.

But, for a city as big and important as Nagoya, why must it be so small (in terms of the Asian standard).
