Abandonned Amusement Park

Interesting photos, but sadly no information on the location (although the right hand drive car might give some clues).

This site is where the photos come from originally.

its all in Japanese - but the babel fish site can translate it all.

In Cergy (near Paris), there was "Mirapolis". This park was opened in 1987 and closed in 1991 and all attractions have been destroyed:

Sad but not as sad as the demise of Australia's Wonderland.

BTW those pics look awesome, so moody and apocalyptic.

Such sad pictures. It's just so sad to see a place that used to be filled with joy abandonned. That amusement park would have been perfect as a location for the "Children of Men" movie.

it looks haunted... as someone pointed out, it is so depressing to see a place of joy now wrecked into a mysterious site.
