He also said he wants to destroy the Adrian Union, because they are the closest strong union in the neighbourhood of North Ionia(sorry giorgos for this edit, but this is a world war, please help me )

President Venizelos today announced that Georgiapolis will remain a neutral nation in the current battle despite growing pressure from the USCN.

"I don't believe Georgiapolis or any other Adrian nation for that matter should join in the attack of North Ionia. They will not touch Adria, so why should we touch them?" The president stated yesturday.

It is believed North Ionia will not attack Adria due to the new stance.

Parades were held in the streets of Newport City today as the citizens cheer to support the North Ionian Army. The government quickly acted by diffusing the parade with smoke bombs and the cheers quickly turned into riots leaving Main St. a mess.

Heil Attacks Spartainia, Capital of North Ionia

In response to the call for retreat by North Ionia, Heil's DefenseNet unleashed an assault on Spartainia. DSO-DW-9100T/B "Titan" Bombers are dropping bombs on priority targets throughout the country, and laser attack satellites are taking out missile silos and airfields. DefenseNet reports that the country has over 2 million troops ready for an attack, and is reading nuclear weapons.

Meanwhile Heil's 25 warships arrived overnight off the coast of Constantinoupolis and destroyed 1/2 of North Ionias battle fleet. Heils warships were able to do this due to new electronic warfare equipment that allows us to jam enemy missiles and radar. Navel bombardment of enemy positions on the island is to commence shortly.

The Presidential Council of Heil released a statement today in regards to the war. "North Ionia is an evil and repressive state that must be stopped before it harms innocent civilians outside its boarders. Heil is at war now and we urge all people in the country to keep vigilant for sabotage, terrorist activity, and spies. We also wish to keep the people of Heil safe from attack, and therefore suggest people familiarize themselves with the nearest civilian protection bunker. We don't want to cause alarm, and we have every confidence in DefenseNet, but we want to ensure the safety of our people. To our troops: we support you 110%"

The unthinkable has happend. Heil has been attacked within her own boarders. A large warhead detonated in the Port of Oyer a short time ago. Wide spread distruction across the area has brought all trade in Oyer to a stand still. Three Hundred port workers were killed in the attack by North Ionia. DefenseNet officals state that it was a North Ionia unmanned submarine that attacked the port. "We did not detect anything unusual untill the last minute, just before the bomb detonated. Our sonar sensors detected a moderate sized mass moving up the River Volga in Oyer, however it appeared to be a large marine animal. It is not ususal to see these animals migrate up the rivers in Heil ever once in a while. We didn't think anything of it untill we heared a mechanical click that detonated the bomb. Overseas, 25 more warships are headed to region brining the total to 50 from Heil alone. The Ships have stated bombarding ground positions on both the mainland and islands.90% of their air bases have been eliminated or damaged beyond repair. Live front line images will be avalible tommorrow.

Sutherway Stays Neutral

Derek Walloway today condemned the actions of both sides in the recent conflict stating that diplomatic solutions are the way forward. Speaking from his office in Kirkcaldy, the PM addressed the people of Sutherway in a television broadcast and told them Sutherway would not take part in the fighting unless the people and assets of Sutherway were troubled.

The short broadcast also told of troop movement from Octobertown in the Muyan Islands. Many of the troops will be stationed in their ships waiting on orders to defend of attack either side in the war. It is hoped that if troops are attacked, this strategy will limit the damage as they will be further apart.

It is not clear whether the country will use it's nuclear weapons as a diplomatic tool for the first time when negotiations commence in a few days.

Citizens and government officials support North Ionia and complements the country for a job well done. André DeHaas said "We must support North Iona, for they have done something that we couldn't do but wanted to do. Trimblelina declares war on North Ionia
Trimblelina has pledged its support for Muyanguniang defense of its territories. About 20,000 Trimblelinan troops should arrive in Heil within 12 hours to be shipped to combat. There will be with them about 20 A3 prototypes, Trimblelina's new medic-android, which is the 3rd android class developed by Trimblelina in the last ten years. (The previous models were designed for combat, with the A4 Class hopefully being able to fit in the super-soldier shells,(which are even more durable then the androids) with the latter coming out in 2 months, and the former within 10 months.)

Georgiapolis concerned over Sutherway's Weapons

The president today told of his concern about Sutherway's nuclear weapons which he says should not be allowed in the USCN.

The news comes after a press release claimed that Sutherway had such weapons in its reserves. The war in North Ionia sparked the concerns which the president says are 'genuine'.

Georgiapolis will remain neutral in the war and it will not provide humanitarian aid at this time.

Sutherway Refuse to Destroy Weapons

Prime minister Derek Walloway has told Georgiapolis not to worry about our defence, stating that weapons like these are needed in a dangerous world.

"With ongoing wars, such as the currant one in North Ionia, Sutherway needs to think of a higher degree of protection. Nuclear wepons are the ultimate deterrant and shall not be used in anger," the PM said, "You can trust us!"

United Bay States Announces Neutrality

In an unusual move the UBS announced to be "neutral" in the North Ionia War. A sagging economy since the Lune disaster is a major reason for this decision. As the UBS tries to fix its economy and re-build Lune it doesnt want to waste money in a "foreign" war. Although the UBS declared "neutrality" rumors have surfaced of deals to sell weapons and build weapons for allied states.

Troops Land in Teak, North Ionia Mainland in Jeopardy

Heil’s troops have landed in the North Ionia town of Teak, establishing a beach head for further landings. Exact troop deployment numbers are not known due to national security; however it is rumored to be in excess of 75,000. Heil warships have been bombarding the coastline all night, enabling us to gain the upper hand in the region. Bombers have dropped 5 EMP weapons on the country as well, disabling all electronics within the region. The Government Buildings in the capital are reportedly in ruins after attacks by DefenseNet’s Laser Attack System.

The government of Heil warns Penatra to reconsider its position of face the consequences. "We are ok with countries remaining neutral in this conflict, it is there choice to do so and we cannot force anyone into helping us. However those supporting this evil regime will not be tolerated. While we will not declare war as of yet on these nations (Penatra), trade and economic relations have been ended.”

Situation Critical in Oyer

Yesterday’s bomb detonation in the port of Oyer caused more damage then first thought. Over 500 bodies have been recovered, with hundreds more still missing. ¾ of the port must be rebuilt, with the rest damaged to varying degrees. Pier 1-5 have been completely wiped out, and 6-7 are very badly damaged. 9 vessels were also sunk in the harbor. 5 major pipelines carrying various liquid products have been completely destroyed as have 30 fuel storage containers. The port authority stated that full recovery could take years, but they plan on having partial port operations back online by Monday.

The Government and People of Heil thanks all countries that have sent aid in these trying times, it is seriously appreciated. All aid that is not consumed will eb funneled into international relief organizations.

Newport Sends Aid to Northern Ionia

NEWPORT- Fifty fighter jets were donated to the Northern Ionian Army to help the nation with the on-going war with, Muyangguniang, Sutherway, Trimblelina, Jacksonville, and Heil. Because of Newport's alliance with the NWA and JHEM, sending troops are prohibited. "We wish these [fighter jets] will aid North Ionia in its time of need" said the president of Newport in a press confrence earlier this evening.
