Some pictures of seldom-seen Khulna, third largest city of Bangladesh, with a few more to come in future posts. The first photo is of a building called Akunji Tower, the second is the Safe n Save Mall, and the third is a Grameen Phone building. These pics are by Fahim 519:

More Khulna photos by Fahim 519. The first building is Hotel Millenium, the second is Hotel Tiger Garden, and the third is not named:
(These photos support my opinion that phone lines should be made illegal in BD ( ) )![]() ![]()

Thanks, credit to the photographer of course. Khulna is underdeveloped relative to its size...but things are hopefully picking up there as in the rest of BD. A few more pics in the next day or two...

Yer all welcome. A few more Khulna pics. The first is of an intersection called Sib Bari (I think) and the building at right is the Krishi Bank. The second pic is of the Baitun Noor Masjid which is probably the largest modern mosque in town...by looks of things it (or at least the minaret) is still under construction. The last pic is of Khulna Medical College. The first pic is by Aminul H, the second by Fahim 519, and the third by Mahbub321. Next post will have a couple of Safe N Save pics for Mirza. The photographer wrote that it was "the largest shopping mall in BD." Well, maybe not... ....but a step forward for Khulna, no doubt.![]() ![]()

Its size is more of a supermarket than a 'mall' but certainly good for Khulna.

Trip to Khulna recorded from Bangla Vision. I missed small interesting portions of the show due to my computer hardware limitations.
