May ara man gali nga lugar sa inyo nga ginatawag nga "istasyon"? I suppose it also pertains to the area surrounding the train station. Sa amon sa Passi may ara man. If you ask someone whose residence is near the train station his response will be "sa may istasyon" or we call him taga-istasyon. Until now, despite the absence of Panay Railways for more than 2 decades already, the name of the place still sticks.

Yes I did the voice over, not my strong suit yet. I know the music is not Filipino and I do apologize for that. It's music I brought with me. And since I make these vids for my daughter and son in law in the US (Cal.) and other friends I decided to use music I grew up on.
Thank you for viewing. It really is fun to put together short vids using stills and video cameras. Great hobby and lots of laughs while doing them. Jerry Lames |

I moved here from Tahanan Village in Paranaque, Sucat. We live in Tahanan for 3 years, then moved here in April of 2005. My wife has some property in President Roxas, about 45 minutes from Roxas. But I enjoy living in Roxas and we will stay here. Great city, great seafood, great people.
On another subject, I have posted some youtube video links (video's that I did) I hope that is ok, as I notice you don't want any links posted. Please let me know if I'm stepping out of bounds doing this. |

Links are ok as long as they are not meant to advertise your personal business. Posting your u-tube video links are fine.
BTW, I'm not a moderator. Just another Ilonggo forumer. Don't worry, if your posts and links are out of bounds, the moderator can always call your attention.Ti, bira-bira na di post para sadya ta!

Street Side Cafe Roxas City
I did a short video of a great little street side cafe in the market of Roxas City. Delicious food, owners are great people and a lot of fun to visit. Just make sure you are hungry.
This video shows some of the local market in Roxas, a magical place to walk about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4uQ3G39B5Y Islandjerry |
