In French motorways what is the difference between blue and Green signs?
Only on motorways, i know that rest of French roads are white...

Green signs give directions to major cities along regular highways. I think it's a great system, if you're just on a through route, you don't need to pay attention to all those small towns and villages on the white signage.

It's probably already in the law, because it was a part of Serbia-Montenegro and Yugoslavia, which had motorways (painted green). But painting it green would imply Montenegro already has motorways, so let's paint it when it gets its first motorway, after all, they might even change the color in the mean time, you never know.

I know that you are motorway enthusiast, but believe me this time.
If you were borne and lived in ex YU states you wouldn't even question or play smart. But you weren't... so believe ppl that were.
That is common law from ex Yugoslavia and it is still guideline for all successor states. And we all still have the same law and the same rules... and one of the rule is GREEN = Motorways

I´ve no problems with the blue-signage system on motorways in Hungary, but I liked the dark green old signs at night. They reflected back as white script on a black-board.They were very clear and bright.

...btw, I don´t like them we have in Denmark. They look "used-dirty" with very little reflection.
Probably it is the way how it should be in DK. I still don´t like it.

Jordan has no motorways. There are only expressways like in Estonia and Latvia in Europe. They may look like motorways at some pictures but they have actually u-turns, uncontrolled entrys and exits and so on along the way.

Syria has blue for motorways.

Tunisia has blue for motorways.
