Wait, so if I want to go to the location posted on the left, I have to drive on the right side? That's a rather complicated way of displaying the information...

Greetings,

Well, in Spain as all we know the Motorways and "autovias" (dual-carriageway) has blue sings, but, in some autovias around the year 1992 (not in all) had used another different colour scheme: Blue letters and white background .

In this case we have 2 Autovias, One in White & Blue, other in Blue & White… both Autovias, Spanish logic. (A-31, Old N-330 E-7)

Other old autovia…! (A-35)

This sings will disappear this year, they're too old and the actual law is White Letters, Blue Background, like the rest of Europe.

E07 starts in Zaragoza. South of there it was only N-330.

I guess we can only think about and include autopistas which are completely blue and leave autovias for now

Have the same signs and colours... and in the Spanish thread I posted a photo of a "autopista" pointed with an "autovia" signal.

Are you sure it is a motorway? What road is it? You know that countries without motorways may not be represented in this forum as mentioned in the title.
But good to see the foirst pic from an Angolan road

Some of these are still on the A1 coming down to Madrid.

Autopista = Autovia …you can't notice the difference between, in Spain for the people Motorway (autopista) = Dual-Carriageway (autovia) = Highway (autopista / Autovia) = Freeway (autopista / Autovia))

See this thread.

Good question. Answer: If the Spanish government DID NOTHING about the economy in the last 7 years… do you think, seriously, they will do make all Autovias into Autopistas…? Spain is like a parody of the European rich countries.
