Well just a chat area for projects in Dubai and UAE
Project that you hear about that might not yet be started or just gossip and talk in general.

in the Gulf news new building was shown
42- story planned near Trade Center cost 126M Dh
no other details apart from an image that i will post tomorrow when I scan it
any one eles know know any thing about this ?

do they state the architect of the projects on the signboards?

the architects website might have even more renderings of the projects.

If there was the full board it would have the Plot number and permit number and the like

This is a great IDEA , Well its quite active here in Abu Dhabi

1- a superb residental and office complex is coming up on the right hand ide of the al baynonah road (( from the looks of it )) they seem to be between 7 and 8 towers ranging from 30 - 45 floors , maybe more !! i will take a photo of the boarding outside soon enough

2- the conference palace hotel is BEAUTIFUL , its near completion and looking better than ever , the 24 K gold plated domes make a whole lota difference for sure , will take up-dated photos of it soon

3- Seems Abu Dhabi is going to get a 130-150 meter observation Deck tower behind the Marina mall (( part of the malls retail expanison )) also expect photos

Well more baoding went up around just near the crown plaza that 3 sites that are UC that we dont knwo whats going up !!

that building in the 3rd post is a 53 story res tower in the dubai marina, called marina heights. Trances best you get down to the marina and add some of these beauties

I did it last thursday and i needs a few cold ones after to rehydrate. Got some good pics and add what buildings I could but I know there are pleanty im missing still

Maybe the old one become smaller so they build a new one. The plan was to connect the two buildings with a sky bridge high above the ground, but i don't know if they actually did it.

Funny thing; at one point in the outskirt of Ajman, I was able to see both Etisalat buildings of Sharjah and Ajman.

There will be 2 in Dubai soon with a second underconstruction
and they have office spread all over in smaller building and areas

I just noticed today that the pillars were already 4 - 5 meters above ground level, easily visible from the road.

Like in every new building here, as soon as it brakes the ground level, it goes up very fast.

this might be a bit off topic, but didn't the UAE grant permission for another telecommunications company to get established ? other than etisalat ? any info on that ?

not yet they are planning to no date set but it will happen
Now here are so towers that I understand are in early planning stage no details yet and source is also limited so will put up what I know
Found them all in database from Compnay called Venture that lists all projects and I now have month issue comming to me ( I hope )
So here is June for Dubai ( it covers all the middle east but that list is to huge )

VISION

BTW that every thing from towers to oil pipelines
Also some of this info appear in these lisiting seem to be a little old but I have chosen the better ones to post in the list above
