yep, its almost done

the highway start from here (algerian moroccan borders) about 500 km of highway from borders to Algiers were received

but some sections around the capital 50 km maybe are UC and there will be long tunnel there +1km, this section will received before the end of the year.

about 400km from algiers to constantine were received but it stops in constantine

and the section from constantine to tunisia borders about 200 km is currently UC there will be there 2 tunnels each one 1 km length,

for me is one of the most important sections, can you imagine that we do the trip between constantine and skikda in 3 hours ?? only 90 km

and sooner we will built the high plateaux highway another 1000 km

Second south ring road Algiers: Opening of the segment-Douéra Birtouta
http://www.autoalgerie.com/ouverture...ouera-bir,2782
Quote:

Expressway-Ain Benian Boufarik: opening of the section-Douera Tassala El Merdja
http://www.autoalgerie.com/mise-en-s...on-douera,2774

Quote:
Augmenter policeDiminuer policeTexte seulement

Hmm, I was kind of hoping they would implement a newer generation of overhead signage. Capitalized fonts aren't the best in the first place, not to mention when they're bold as well. And it lacks road numbers, fonts are of different sizes which does not increase its legibility. The arrows are unnecessary large as well.

If they want to copy the French system, then they better do it right

Yes. This signage is zero. The signage on the 2nd south rocade of Algiers is way better.

The problem is that there is no legislation about signage, it is in preparation so we must wait a bit so that the panels are replaced gradually...

There is an article in French here about the future legislation:

Indeed that signage seems much more legible in both languages - in addition to aesthetic appeal! For such a beautiful new road system the signage is a let-down; however it is the easiest thing to fix. The important step was laying the foundations of the country's infrastructure, which they're doing surprisingly well mashaAllah
