![]() Note: Those good angle shots were taken by Eastman, who is a Civil Engineering student in ITU. That lucky guy did his training in DOI's construction.

270 m demek ...
her kat aralığı 4.5 m olursa 270 m olur.

Diamond of Istanbul is the tallest building of Istanbul and Turkey currently being built in the city's Maslak business district. It is also the country's first steel skyscraper. When completed in 2008, it will rise 53 floors and reach the above-ground height of circa 270 meters (making it upon completion Europe's tallest skyscraper, surpassing Europe's current tallest skyscraper, the 264.1 meters-tall Triumph-Palace in Moscow, by circa 5.9 meters).
Its design, by Dome Architecture of Istanbul, comprises 3 steel wings connected to the central (concrete) elevator(s) core. The 3 wings (the tallest of which will comprise 53 floors) will house, respectively, a luxury hotel, A-class offices, and rental apartments. The steel wings rise from the common podium of a shopping mall comprising 5 floors - 3 above-ground and 2 below. The complex also has a 5-floor parking garage situated in the bottom-most floors of the building. The panoramic restaurant on the top-most floor will offer unobstacted views of both entrances to the Bosphorus strait and will offer dining experience at the tallest man-made point in Istanbul and Turkey.
