Hey - not so little

Was there 2 years ago - perfect weather, fantastic food, so much to see and do - fab history - world famous.

Could easily live their - just loved it - a must to visit if you are in France

Then there is the wine.....................................

Not so easy
It is expensive for a city of this size.

Not only Avinhon, but Provença in general, is absolutely stunning.

Thanks for showing us this small slice of Occitania.

Incredible the road under the bridge is not jammed.
It is always the case when I am in Avignon.

I found it very disappointing when I visited the city on a school trip some years ago. It was rather small and dirty and some really ugly postwar buildings in the old city ruined it's charm.

Funny...when we visited the city, there were hardly any people on the streets. Just some tourists like us.

But thanks for the pictures! They're nice!

I got the opposite impression, I thought that the city was well preserved and clean, there are some ugly areas in the suburbs but I was impressed by the centre.

I visited when I was younger. An interesting city, but too small indeed. The area is beatiful.

How can it be too small? Too small for what? It is what it is.
