Why do Houston people also piss all over Dallas threads but we never mess with them?

Nice cluster, but it will be better with Calatrava bridge in foreground.

Dallas has a very good skyline, but its one of those rare ones where from some angles it looks great, and from others it looks shit.

Thankfully the great outway the not-so-great by quite a substantial margin .

Dissapointing surroundings though - where the skyline ends, the nothingness of American sprawl begins.

But the CBD is fantastic - 8/10

You mean the part where the people actually live(?).

Dallas hasn't been cooking up a notch, from where it stands out to be looking alright from the air, but being there is another thing. The skyline is telling me that Dallas has to be a new city with upcoming skyscrapers, because all of them are newish like, starting from the 80s. Still a small city compared to Los Angeles and New York City, but it serves a good cup of tea. My kind of city. 8.5/10

Downtown is the best place in dallas having lived in a suburb of dallas for a year i found it to be great but after you get a certain amount of miles from downtown it becomes basically boring every third house is the same suburb and absolutely nothing to do.
Skyline 9/10 Nice buildings, density

Dallas has a good skyline, but much like my own city, all the towers are 1980's and newer, which, IMO, makes a city lack building character.

What is that tower being built a few shots up? Is it commercial? I thought Dallas had one of the nations highest vacancy rates for class A office space?

That's the W Hotel & Residences. That whole area over there is being developed. Most of it will be residential. There will be a 45 story residential tower right next to the W.

That 45 story building he is talking about is the One Victory Tower that you see in the rendering. It will be taller than the W Hotel that you see that is currently in construction in the pictures now. The Mandarin-Oriental Hotel will go in here as well.
Here is the rendering.

Will be a great building in the skyline.
