Nice simple industrial look to it. With all of the urban expansion and the new 6th street bridge, that plot has really turned into something of a gem. I'm glad they selected that site.

Great article in the Journal-Sentinel today with some interior photos of the exhibits. http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=766949

I got to take a tour a few weeks ago and I must say that this is a world-class museum and will be a great addition to Milwaukee's tourist destinations. With the Public Museum, MAM, Discovery World and Harley, we've got some fantastic places for residents and visitors.

I'm not a Harley rider, nor a big fan of Harleys, but it was still very very cool and all Milwaukeeans should be proud that such a great company is HQ'd here.

Good article Milwaukee D. I encountered more press coverage about the Harley Museum, from the perspective of the L.A. Times, and from a blogger from L.A.

Plus, it includes a lot of favorable coverage about other aspects of Milwaukee. Keep on following the links of related stories.

I really like how this motorcycle museum has turned out. It's a great addition to the city, in a nearly ideal location. The landscaping of the grounds and public access of the river's edge is superb.

I'm not a big Harley person, but it was still pretty cool to see the history of an american icon. the displays were great, they have some cool artifacts and really well-done videos/displays. Definitely worth checking out at least once, after that I'm not sure it is worth the $20.

I went there once and really enjoyed the whole experience, even though I never have riden a harley and probably never will. I think someone who is more interested/knowledgeable would have a blast there and probably spend more than one day.

I'd pay the $20 to get in...
