300m to 350 IMO. That whole, lets build a 600m+ tower doesn't really appeal to me.

Anything even in my opinion. So 200m is good, 400m is good, 600 is good, 800 is good etc.

It all depends on the design of the building, and the proportions...2 buildings may have the same height, but one can look stumpy and ugly and the other, slender and graceful.

As for height, it all depends on the location of the building, it has to be relative to the skyline of the city. Probably 200m for most cities, 300m for bigger cities, 400m for places with tons of soaring towers, and 500m for dubai.

300-350m seems like the best range. Not too short, not insanely tall.

200-300. But a 2000 meter scyscraper from star wars can be really cool too. but that's gonna take a while.

I think one knows a city's towers are too tall when one's daily commute vertically takes longer than their commute horizontally...or when street lights are required in the middle of the day because the towers have robbed the CBD of most of its natural sunlight.

...I don't think we will make this mistake for a few more decades.

1000 feet is a nice simple height. Nowdays though 1000 feet can be swallowed up in many cities with no impact on the skyline. Certain cities, NYC, Chicago, Hong Kong to name a few can easily deal with 1500 footers.

The taller the better but to be honest everything depends on design - each building is different case.

For the one´s who say that 600m towers are good...how can you tell that if there isn´t any high-rise with more than 520 meters???

IMO the best height for a skyscraper ranges from 250 to 350 meters....taller than that things start to get weird and generally dont fit in the skyline or with the citylife..
