You're right, it says until 1999.
I thought they were unfamiliar to me (I've already seen Moroccan license plates in Europe).

Me too. You see a lot of them on the A10 Autoroute in southwestern France. Probably even more in Spain.

On Olav's licence plates some of maroccan plates heve french style fonst(which is understandible) and some german style one. Why is that?

It says the French-looking ones were only until 2000.

There is no uniform font standard, and the plates are made by private shops after the car is purchased. The one used in my picture is the most common.

Note: the license plate on the car above means that the car is already registered but waiting for an official licence plate - you find these plates on all cars that have recently been bought from the dealer. ( So cars that are like hardly a week old for example) |
