South Africa is such a massive country, but are really the major cities all connected?

Egypt doesn't have many highways. At least not European standard highways. South Africa is the leader on the continent when it comes to amount of KM highways i think.

Egypt doesn't have many motorways, although it does have a 4-lane road all along the Mediterranean. Morocco probably has the densest motorway network in Africa.

Dual carriage is a typical british invention actually. These are autoroutes, similar as highways we know in France and Spain - or motorways, as the english call them. The amount of lanes doesnt make a difference. To make things clear, most of the motorways in England are dual-carriage.
im not making up definitions i live in england and in england the moterways are 3 lanes and i always fort duel ment 2 and all the duel caridgeways are 2 lanes.

If I'm not mistaken it's the start of the Marrekech autouroute at Bouskoura. Going top to bottom is the A5 Casablanca bypass and from the interchange and to the right is km 0 of the A7.

Guys, you should put "Highways/Autoroutes" in the title of the thread,... because the definition of Highway or expressway changes from country to another.

PS : The Autoroutes in Morocco, are exactly at the standard of the Autoroutes of France, Belgium, the Autostrade in Italy and the Autopista in Spain...

Is the Fes - Tetouan highway programmed yet? Or still in phase of study?

It would certainly make the North more connected to the rest of the country.
