I like both but until both are completed I don't think its fair to compare them yet.

The Chicago one imo.

I don't like the attempt to take old style design features (the facade towards the ground and the spire on the roof) and present them in a new way on the Toronto one. Very few architects can pull that of well.

The Chicago one has more of an attractive ground entrance. Than again by the looks of it I'd assume they had more land to work with in Chicago.

Chicago. Althought both take best advantage of their respective surroundings, the Chicago tower is the more complete building. It's scale is correct, Toronto's needs to be about 100 feet taller.

I'd give the edge to Toronto if it's height were adjusted, and the building was finished strongly at the top. That little 'hat' at the top is ridiculous. Something much bolder is needed.

I suggested in another thread that 2 giant cylindrical steel poles of would be a more fitting accent.

if toronto's looks half as good as the rendering, it will be pretty dope...all depends on the materials, i can't imagine trump skimping out, even though it is toronto. trump chicago is pretty nice a pretty nice and sleek tower...fits chicago, not toronto. each tower is pretty well designed to it's surroundings definitly.

Toronto blends best with surroundings and Chicago is the best view.

Double T, baby!

Trump Toronto. Honestly, there's nothing that I dislike about Trump Tower Toronto. I like that Trump Chicago has a lot of glass (I love glass towers - Toronto needs more of them...1 Bloor E - old design), however I don't like the shape is the building. It's too bulky. Without question, I prefer Trump Toronto.

I like both but Toronto's is more classy and Chicago's has more presence and it has more height. So I go with the desing of the Toronto one.

It IS a bold top, in my opinion. Plus, you won't get a bolder top to a tower in Toronto's financial district...

^agreed, what I fine with Toronto skyscrapers are that instead of having wild designs that you would find in London, Sydney etc. we have very classy, conservative skyscrapers that age very well. Just like the Trump Toronto tower it is very classy that matches a classy city and iteracts with exsisting towers. Now the Chicago tower is more modern and bulky and sort of a more modern imitation of Sears Tower. Not just that but I don't know if the Chicago tower will age well but my vote goes to Toronto!
