I saw a couple of days ago a great 15 minutes reportage on Sighisoara on local TV. Even though I have not yet visited the city, I have already fallen in love with it. It is truly amazing what a great charm and mystic feel does this city have. If the owners and government put some money to renovate it and advertise it, it could easily turn to a major tourist destination.

True! very True! I am romanian and I've never visited Sighisoara. I'm waiting for the renovation to visit it in a more positive light.

If I were you, I'd go and visit it now. Else, you've got a lot to wait! Also, it would be interesting to see it before and after a restoration.
