Yeah, I thought this baby would have been UC by now. I wonder if there is just a shortage of drilling machines with the current boom.

Nothing of interest - a couple of cars and a construction trailer, but no equipment. I walked past the site today.

I'm going to demote this one to Approved. I don't see any site prep taking place.

Walked past that site today and quite a good bit of activity going on. I was on a conference call at the time, so slightly distracted, but I think they may well have been working on drilling some caissons.

In any case, more activity than that site has seen in a while. Hoping it turns out as lovely as the renders.

Yes, caissons were being drilled at the southeast corner of the site just before noon today.

Wow, 2 construction starts in 1 day.

We haven't had that since Waterview and (can't remember, but some other project) started together a while back.

What about the day Aqua, 351 N Clark, and 235 W Van Buren (or so we thought) all started on the same day?

i dont know if i like this one. it seems like outdated design to me. if i stood next to it, I would give it 50% chance being brand new, and 50% chance being 30 years old. it reminds me of this building in hong kong:
